- The tenant notifies the claim using the following email address : uni@allia.lu
- AlliA transfers the claim notification to La Luxembourgeoise and receives the insurer's claim reference.
- AlliA sends an email to seve.sinistre@uni.lu (with a copy to the building's caretaker) and asks the tenant to provide a quote of repairs.
- The tenant sends the quote of repairs to AlliA and to the building's caretaker for information.
- According to the nature of the damage, there are 2 possibilities :
- Damages to the content :
- Without any expert report (insurer's decision):
- ALLIA provide la Luxembourgeoise with the quote of repairs.
- La Luxembourgeoise agrees with this quote or repairs (small claims) and asks for the invoice.
- La Luxembourgeoise pays the invoice either to the tenant or to the provider (less dilapidation, if applicable, which will be paid by the tenant).
- With an expert report (insurer's decision):
- In view of the quote of repairs, La Luxembourgeoise will appoint an expert.
- The expert arranges a meeting with the tenant and the building's caretaker. The tenant informs the building's caretaker of the day and time of the meeting with the expert. The expert observes the damages and asks the tenant for quotes of repairs if necessary.
- The expert issues his report, sends it to La Luxembourgeoise and gives his agreement for the repairs to be fixed.
- After informing the building's caretaker, the tenant asks the provider to fix the repairs and to issue an invoice in the name of the tenant, as recommemended in the expert's report.
- Invoices will be sent to La Luxembourgeoise who will pay the provider (less dilapidation, if applicable, which will be paid by the tenant).
